Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron is the third major peninsula yacht cub to join the Alliance  and is advancing with the most significant facility upgrade since being formed from the Southern Yacht Squadron in 1951.

The new building complex will have  a primary structure with administration and meeting rooms, large function room with catering facilities and a separate building will house race management, sail training control centre and marine safety facilities.

Marina and boat storage facilities are also being substantially upgraded as part of the $5 – $6 million upgrade program
